Parking lots, open and semi-open parking are objects that were either originally intended for parking, or have been reconstructed for this purpose. In any case, when choosing a material for finishing the facade of the parking lot, one must take into account not only the appearance of the material, but also its performance.

Due to the growth in the number of cars and the lack of parking spaces, developers are increasingly building multi-level parking lots. This is especially true near large shopping centers. The MEKHBUD plant supplied blind sections for facing a multi-level parking lot near one of the residential complexes in the city of Irpen.

The galvanized steel lamellas meet all fire safety requirements. Good anti-corrosion properties of the metal guarantee long-term operation of the louvered facade, without additional costs for its maintenance.

The JALUSY facade is perhaps the best option for a ventilated semi-open parking lot. Angled slats allow air and sunlight to pass through. At the same time, they remain almost windproof, impervious to dust and precipitation – both dust and raindrops carried by the wind simply settle on the blinds. In addition, this design protects the inner space of the parking lot from overheating in the summer heat, effectively diffusing light.

Color solutions are easier to choose here than in the previous case. Ventilated facades are less prone to overheating, so they are often made in darker shades. In addition (in the case of louvered facades), it becomes possible to implement interesting design ideas associated with a different type of facade when viewed from different angles.
