The structure of the Grilyato suspended ceiling is a system of suspended fasteners, a bearing profile and square lattice modules, 600×600 mm in size. The system itself is assembled from U-shaped profiles: “father” and “mother”. Lattice modules are attached to the supporting profiles of the frame.

Specifications

The ceiling is assembled from lattice modules of a standard size – 600×600 mm.

Modules are made from panels of a certain shape. The panels can be wooden, but most often Grilyato ceilings are installed on the basis of stamped metal panels – steel or aluminum.

In the manufacture of the panel, a metal blank with a thickness of 0.3 to 0.5 mm is stamped: the result is a product with a U-shaped profile. The standard width of such a profile is about 10 mm, and the height is 30–50 mm.

For the assembly of the lattice section of the ceiling, two types of profiles are used – “male” and “mother”. They got their name due to the fact that the grooves of these profiles are located on opposite edges, and when the “dad” with the “mom” is joined, a stable structure is obtained, practically free of gaps.

When assembling the structure, square cells are formed. The size of the cells can be different (it depends on the ceiling model) – from 30×30 to 150×150 mm.
