The plant “Mehbud” – specializes in the production of metal products (primarily metal panel fences and suspended ceiling systems) is systematically working to expand its range. Therefore, following the numerous requests of customers (both existing and potential), it was decided to add a new, demanded item to the product line – a basket for an air conditioner.

ADVANTAGES

For the manufacture of protective gratings and baskets, the MehBud plant uses metal profiled panels made of galvanized steel or aluminum with a polymer protective and decorative coating. The use of this material allows to provide boxes for air conditioners with a number of advantages:

High strength and vandal resistance with low weight. The profiling of metal blanks allows the formation of stiffening ribs on them, so the basket turns out to be strong. The use of reliable fasteners and a strong external frame will also be a plus. At the same time, such a basket weighs less than one made from a steel bar or corner.

Guaranteed effective air exchange. The distance between the panels is selected so that the air circulates as freely as possible. The leaders in this indicator are the “picket fence” (thanks to vertical slots) and “Blinds” models, but even in the “Rancho” basket the outdoor unit of the air conditioner does not overheat even in extreme heat.

For what purposes are the air conditioner baskets used?

Technical function

The lattice basket, which is attached to the bracket and covers the air conditioner from the sides and from the front, protects it from mechanical damage. The presence of the grill reduces the risk of damage to the outdoor unit, which means it extends its service life

Anti-vandal function

The air conditioner basket has a vandal-proof function. This applies to both protection against throwing stones and bottles, and prevention of theft. From this point of view, it is the baskets that are preferable, since the outdoor unit located in such a grill is very difficult to steal.

Decorative function

Quite often, air conditioners of different sizes are located on the facade of the building. The only rational way out in this situation would be the installation of standard baskets for air conditioners, in harmony with the facade, and at the same time hiding the climatic equipment.
