Metal pergola

A pergola is a lightweight lattice canopy on vertical supports. Unlike solid roofs made of corrugated board or polycarbonate, the openwork roof of the pergola does not interfere with natural light, but at the same time creates a shade that protects well from the heat in the summer heat.

Pergolas from the “Mehbud” plant will not only decorate your site or local area, but also quite practical devices – in the scattered shade of such a canopy, you can comfortably rest even on a hot July day.

ADVANTAGES

Pergolas are traditionally installed in open areas or near private houses – where it is necessary to provide protection from the sun while maintaining natural light. Sometimes the side walls of the pergola are also sheathed – in this case, the space under the canopy also receives additional protection from the wind.

The advantages of pergolas for private households and territories over commercial objects are obvious:

In addition, pergolas have a number of operational advantages – but they directly depend on the choice of material, the quality of design and installation of the pergola.

  • Attractive appearance. A lightweight canopy with a lattice roof looks very nice, especially if modern materials were used for its manufacture.

  • Harmonious combination with other elements of landscape design. Almost any pergola can be made – this allows it to harmoniously fit into the overall landscape solution. At the same time, the ability to manufacture pergola parts in any shade facilitates the maintenance of a single color style.

  • Good sun protection. The wide-profile lattice canopy diffuses sunlight well. It is when the sun is high above the horizon that the pergola is most effective: it creates an openwork shadow mesh, under which it will be much more comfortable to rest.

  • Daylight. The main advantage of a pergola over a continuous canopy is that the pergola does not interfere with natural light. If during the day it gives us the shade we need, then in the morning and in the evening under such a canopy it will be quite light.

TYPES OF FILLING

Traditionally, pergolas were mounted from lightweight wooden beams, slats or planks. However, this solution is only suitable for dry, warm enough climates. In Ukraine, wooden pergolas do not last long – even with regular treatment with moisture-proof compounds, the wooden canopy begins to rot and deform.

An alternative that surpasses a wooden fence in terms of reliability, durability and service life can be a metal profile pergola. The plant offers the following solution:

  • The “BLINDS” profile is used as the main filling material. Inclined louvres provide effective shading during the hottest hours – without obstructing light in the morning or evening.

  • The use of a light metal profile reduces the load on the supporting structures – the support pillars of the pergola. Both concrete / brick structures and round or profiled metal pipes are used as supports.

  • Metal lamellas are covered with a protective and decorative polymer composition. In addition to the main function – protection against corrosion – the polymer also performs decorative. The pergola can be made in any shade according to RAL, and the use of offset printing technology on PRINTECH metal makes it possible to make the lamellas indistinguishable from wood (9 the metal is coated with a shade and texture of natural wood).

As an addition, full or partial covering of the side walls of the pergolas is possible. For cladding, profiles “BLINDS” are also used, and alternatively, it is possible to use profiles “RANCHO” or “EL RANCHO”.

OUR WORKS

One of the most important features of pergolas is that each such structure is assembled according to an individual project. The design takes into account:

DESIGN AND INSTALLATION PERGOL

  • Canopy area.

  • Its placement is wall-mounted or separate.

  • Orientation to the cardinal points – it is taken into account to calculate the optimal shading at different times of the day.

  • The design and color scheme of other objects on the site.

All this allows professional designers to provide the pergola with delicate performance characteristics and organically fit it into the overall design of the site.

Thanks to the use of metal profiles that make up the canopy, the installation of the pergola is quick. If the structure is mounted on the site of an old canopy, then existing supports can be used as a frame. But even with the installation of new support pillars, the installation of the pergola by a professional team does not take much time.
